- How AI is used
- For each instrument, extract the date, the agents, whether a successor is named, and any expiration or revocation language on the face of the document. Do not say the document is valid or still in force.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide validity, revocation, and whether a later document conflicts. Compare financial powers with the state power-of-attorney statute, using the Uniform Law Commission text only as a map of topics. Compare health-care documents with state law. Section 489.102 tells you what a hospital or nursing facility must explain about state-law rights. It does not validate a particular form. Formal Opinion 512: do not accept a generated conclusion that an agent still has authority.
