List documents for a capacity interview
Key facts
- Human involvement
- RedLawyer-led
- How AI is used
- List the instruments, medical notes, and dates the lawyer marks for the interview. Do not write the file note and do not state whether the client has capacity.
- What the lawyer must review
- You write the note of the interview. No statutory capacity test was opened, so the tool states none. The Uniform Law Commission page is a model power-of-attorney act, not an enactment and not a capacity test. Comment 8 to Rule 1.1 and Formal Opinion 512 govern the use of a tool to sort the file. Rule 1.6 applies to the medical notes. You decide what the interview shows.

Who does what
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Assistance | Supporting preparation only. Consider narrowly defined preparation support after confirming the tool’s capability and permitted scope. The tool writes nothing into the document. Substantive advice, judgement and any restricted content remain with the responsible human. |
| Lawyer | Perform the substantive analysis and decisions. Independently check any permitted supporting work and approve the exact output for its intended use. |
