Sort file facts under sentencing headings the lawyer will argue

- How AI is used
- Place each fact the lawyer marks under the § 3553(a) heading the lawyer names. Do not write an argument and do not recommend a sentence.
- What the lawyer must review
- You write the sentencing paper. The headings are those in § 3553(a), including the nature and circumstances of the offense and the history and characteristics of the defendant, and the purposes in paragraph (a)(2). A fact the lawyer has not marked is not filed under a heading. The Guidelines Manual was not opened, so no range is attached to a fact. Model Rule 3.3(a)(3) governs evidence you offer. Formal Opinion 512 requires verification before a sorted fact is put into a filing. The sort is an internal note. You write every sentence that is filed.
