How AI is used
List each claim or defense, the facts it alleges, and any admission, using only the pleading. Do not add a fact from outside the pleading and do not research the law.
What the lawyer must review
A claim for relief must contain a short and plain statement of the grounds for jurisdiction, unless the court already has jurisdiction, and a short and plain statement of the claim showing that the pleader is entitled to relief (Rule 8(a)). A defense is stated in short and plain terms (Rule 8(b)). The lawyer checks the list against the pleading before it is used. A generated case citation is not added. Formal Opinion 512: competence includes verifying generated output.
