How AI is used
List each supplier, the goods named, and whether a detention notice is in the file. Write no conclusion that the presumption is rebutted, and write no public statement.
What the lawyer must review
Customs and Border Protection states that it enforces a rebuttable presumption that goods mined, produced, or manufactured wholly or in part in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, or by an entity on the UFLPA Entity List, are prohibited from importation under 19 U.S.C. section 1307. The tool indexes the file. It does not decide that goods were, or were not, made with forced labor. California supply-chain statute text was not opened, so it is not cited. This is not an Australian modern-slavery statement. Model Rule 1.6 applies to supplier files.
