Turn a discrimination charge and the respondent's position into an issues table
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Put each allegation beside the passage in the respondent's position that admits, denies or does not address it, with the document and page. Write no charge and no position statement.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide the issues and you write any charge, answer or position statement. Title VII (42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2(a)) is the unlawful-employment-practice standard opened for race, color, religion, sex and national origin. Section 2000e-5(b) provides for a charge, notice to the respondent, investigation, and conference, conciliation and persuasion. If the papers are presented to a court, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11(b) requires a certification, after a reasonable inquiry, by the attorney or unrepresented party who signs, files, submits or later advocates them. ABA Formal Opinion 512 requires independent verification of generated output, including citations. The table is a working list. It is not a finding of liability or of no reasonable cause.
