How AI is used
Index the allegations, the dates, the statute each allegation appears to invoke, and the documents that support or contradict each one. Write no charge, no position statement and no answer.
What the lawyer must review
A charge under 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-5 must be filed within 180 days after the alleged unlawful employment practice, or within 300 days where the person has initially instituted proceedings with a qualifying state or local agency, or within 30 days after notice that the agency terminated the proceedings, whichever is earlier. Notice of the charge, including the date, place and circumstances, must be served on the respondent within ten days after filing. If within 30 days after a charge is filed, or within 30 days after any state referral period, the Commission has been unable to secure a conciliation agreement acceptable to it, the Commission may bring a civil action against a respondent that is not a government, governmental agency or political subdivision. You write the charge or the position statement. Anything later filed in federal court is certified under Rule 11 after a reasonable inquiry. Formal Opinion 512 and Model Rule 3.3: do not submit a false statement of law or fact, including a generated citation.
