How AI is used
One row per authority the tool names. Columns are the citation, whether that source is in the file as opened, and the proposition the tool states. Do not add a citation and do not rewrite the proposition as advice.
What the lawyer must review
Formal Opinion 512 requires review of analysis and citations, and correction of errors, before a court submission. Model Rule 1.1 Comment 8 includes the benefits and risks of relevant technology. If the research is for a paper filed in federal court, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 applies to the lawyer's signature. You decide what is relied on. Each paper is checked.
