List citations and tool-marked passages in a draft filing
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- One row per citation, and one row per passage the file marks as tool-written. Columns are the page, the citation or the passage's first line, and whether the source is in the file as opened. Write no sentence of the filing.
- What the lawyer must review
- If the paper is filed in federal court, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 is the signature rule and Model Rule 3.3 is the candor rule. Formal Opinion 512 requires review of analysis and citations, and correction of errors, before a court submission. You decide what stays in the draft. A tribunal practice direction was not opened.
