Administrative Review Tribunal

Administrative Review Tribunal generative AI practice direction

The Administrative Review Tribunal has its own generative AI practice direction. It is not GPN-AI and it is not a state Supreme Court note.

This site’s 22 September 2026 Commonwealth note says the direction was listed by the Law Society of New South Wales and that it should be read in full. Do not assume it copies the Federal Court note.

Confirm on the PDF

Disclosure checklist

Work through this against the instrument, not instead of it. The checks do not record that the filing is done.

  • Confirm the review is in the Administrative Review Tribunal and open the current PDF.
  • Read the direction’s own disclosure and confidentiality rules before you upload a document.
  • Verify citations and legislative references in a source you trust.
  • Do not apply the Federal Court or a state note in its place.
  • Keep the applicant’s personal information out of a public tool unless the direction allows that environment.

What should be disclosed?

Follow the disclosure rule in the Tribunal’s direction, then verify authorities in a source other than the tool that drafted them.
