Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may organise the decision documents into a chronology and draft the complaint's structure from the member's instructions; the lawyer and member settle every statement of fact and the remedy sought.
AI may
- Build a chronology of the decision and related events from the documents supplied
- Draft the complaint in the structure below from the member's instructions
- Check the complaint against the guidance checklist
AI must not
- Must not add facts the member has not given
- Must not characterise other members' conduct beyond what the documents show
The lawyer checks
- The decision complained of is identified precisely and is within the scheme
- Time limits and the correct complaint recipient checked against the current Part 7
- Every fact confirmed by the member
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
