Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
Within this fixed register, AI may enter events and dates from court notices, directions and correspondence and list upcoming dates; the file owner checks each entry against its source document.
AI may
- Enter directions, hearing dates and brief service dates from the court's notices and orders
- List upcoming dates by owner each week
- Record the findings and recommendations and the response deadline that follows
AI must not
- Must not calculate a deadline that is not set by an order, the Act or the Memorandum
- Must not include the deceased's medical or personal information beyond what the register needs
The lawyer checks
- Each entry checked against the order, notice or letter it comes from
- Client's status and leave to appear recorded accurately
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
