Checklist
- The whole or any part of a will may be revoked only in the ways the section lists. No will or part of a will may be revoked by any presumption of an intention on the ground of an alteration in circumstances.
- The opened paths include a later will, and some writing declaring an intention to revoke the will, executed in the manner in which a will is required to be executed.
- They also include the testator, or a person in the testator's presence and by the testator's direction, burning, tearing or otherwise destroying the will with the intention of revoking it.
- They also include the testator, or a person in the testator's presence and at the testator's direction, writing on the will or dealing with it so that the court is satisfied from the state of the will that the testator intended to revoke it. Orders under sections 16 and 18, and revocation by sections 12 and 13, are named and were not opened.
