How AI is used
From the terms the lawyer downloaded and saved to the file, extract the clauses on fees, removal of the app, data use, and termination, with the clause heading and the date on the copy. Do not summarise terms that are not in the file.
What the lawyer must review
The extracted sentences are only as current as the copy in the file. Model Rule 1.1 requires the lawyer to check that copy against the live terms before advice is given. Formal Opinion 512: a tool can omit a qualification or invent a clause that looks real. Rule 1.6: the client’s account data and unreleased product plans are confidential and do not go into a public tool.
