Prepare interrogatories on liability in a personal injury proceeding
Key facts
- Human involvement
- RedLawyer-led
- How AI is used
- From the pleading and the lawyer's issue list, list the liability topics the practice note allows and the topics it says should not be asked. The tool does not write the interrogatories.
- What the lawyer must review
- The lawyer writes every question that is served.
- Keep the number, and the subject, inside the limit for that court.
- Where the note confines questions to liability and contributory negligence, do not go outside that.
- Do not ask for the names of witnesses, or for matters that belong in a medical report or the particulars of loss.

Checklist
- Count questions and sub-parts against the limit in the practice note before any question is served.
- Where the note confines a motor vehicle or industrial accident case to liability, do not go beyond that.
- Remove a question about a medical report, special damage, or loss of earnings.
- Do not treat a direction that interrogatories may be ordered as a permission to serve them without an order.
