How AI is used
Set each factual sentence in the draft appeal beside the page in the file that states the same fact, and mark a sentence with no page. Mark a sentence that promises a charitable deduction. Write no appeal and no advertisement.
What the lawyer must review
You write anything that is published. Section 5(a) of the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. § 45(a)) declares unfair methods of competition in or affecting commerce, and unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce, unlawful. The Commission is empowered and directed to prevent persons, partnerships, or corporations from using them. The subsection excepts banks, savings and loan institutions described in 15 U.S.C. § 57a(f)(3), and Federal credit unions, and the remainder of the exception list was not fully extracted, so a financial institution is not cleared here. A sentence that states a fact the file does not contain is the sentence you test against that prohibition. A sentence that promises a deduction is tested against the IRS statement that an organisation described in section 501(c)(3), other than a testing-for-public-safety organisation, is eligible to receive contributions deductible under section 170. No copyright statute was opened, so this mark-up does not clear copyright. ABA Formal Opinion 512 requires independent verification of generated advertising text.
