How AI is used
For each matter the file identifies, quote the matter name, the forum, and the outcome in the words of the document, with the page. Write no pitch sentence and no outcome the file does not state.
What the lawyer must review
You write every sentence of the pitch. Model Rule 8.4(c) makes it professional misconduct to engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation. A result the file does not state is not added. ABA Formal Opinion 512 warns that a generative tool can produce plausible text that is not accurate, and Model Rule 1.1 requires independent verification before that text is used. Model Rule 1.6(a) applies before information relating to a representation is put into a tool that will not keep it confidential, or before it is revealed to a pitch audience. The client's informed consent, implied authorisation, or a permission in paragraph (b) is required. Paragraph (b) was not applied. No survey of other firms' matters was opened.
