- Section 1003.102(c) disciplines a practitioner who knowingly or with reckless disregard makes a false statement of material fact or law. The signature provision in that section certifies that the signer has read the document. This is immigration-practitioner discipline. It is not an Australian offence of giving immigration assistance, and it is not applied as one. The lawyer decides who may settle the text that is filed. Formal Opinion 512 applies to the draft.
