- List the passport fields that appear on the biographical page in the file: number, expiry, and nationality as printed. Do not type them into an application and do not complete a form.
- What the lawyer must review
- The visitor page says the applicant must complete the online nonimmigrant visa application, Form DS-160, and bring the confirmation page to the interview. The tool does not complete that form or any personal-particulars form. Model Rule 1.6 applies to passport and travel history. Formal Opinion 512 requires the lawyer to control how client facts are used. An Australian form number is not used.
