- How AI is used
- Extract from the adviser's own description its client types, services, affiliations and disciplinary events the papers mention, with a page for each. Do not tick a Form ADV box and do not say an activity is authorised.
- What the lawyer must review
- Investor.gov states that Form ADV Part 1 asks for the adviser's business, ownership, clients, employees, business practices, affiliations and disciplinary events of the adviser or its employees, in a check-the-box format, and that the SEC uses it for regulatory and examination programs. Part 1 is not a licence schedule of Australian authorisations. You decide which box the fact belongs in. 15 U.S.C. § 80b-3 is the registration statute, including the exceptions in subsection (b), which you apply.
