Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Place the volumes and values the lawyer identifies into a working copy of Form ONRR-2014. Leave any figure blank if the source record does not state it.
- What the lawyer must review
- 30 C.F.R. § 1210.51 requires any person who pays royalty to ONRR to submit royalty reports, and to obtain a payor code before paying or reporting. Section 1210.53 requires completed Forms ONRR-2014 for royalty payments, and the payments, by the end of the month following the production month. The lawyer checks every volume, value and allowance against the source record before the form is filed. This is not a state severance-tax return.
