- List each attorney the instrument names, and record whether that person's acceptance is signed and dated. Do not say an unsigned attorney may act.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide who may act. No acceptance statute was opened. A signed acceptance is a fact on the paper. It is not a finding that the power is effective. An unsigned line stays unsigned. Model Rule 1.4(b) is the explanation. Formal Opinion 512 requires you to look at the page, not a generated name. A person who signed as a witness is not listed as an attorney.
