- Quote the clause, if any, that says what happens when one attorney stops. Record whether it speaks of the power ending or of that attorney's office ending. Do not choose an effect the clause does not state.

- You interpret the clause. No statute on vacancies in a power of attorney was opened. If the instrument is silent, the tool says so and does not fill the gap. Model Rule 1.4(b) applies before a remaining attorney acts. Formal Opinion 512 requires you to verify the quote. A later death or resignation is recorded only if the file contains it.
