Record whether a copy of the power includes a certificate page

- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Record whether the copy includes a certificate or an attestation page, and whether that page is signed. Do not say the copy is a complete certificate or that it may be relied on.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide whether the copy is sufficient for a third person. No statute on certified copies of powers was opened. A missing page is recorded as missing. A signed page is not a finding of completeness. Model Rule 1.4(b) is the explanation. Formal Opinion 512 requires you to look at the copy. You do not create a certificate.
