How AI is used
List the release options in § 3142 that the lawyer marks as relevant, and the conditions the current order already imposes. Do not write the submission and do not write the defendant's account.
What the lawyer must review
You write the submission. In a federal case, § 3142(a) and (c) govern release on personal recognizance, an unsecured bond, or conditions. The judicial officer orders the least restrictive further condition, or combination, that will reasonably assure appearance and the safety of any other person and the community. Detention under § 3142(e) follows a hearing under subsection (f). Section 3142(j) does not modify the presumption of innocence. A state case does not use § 3142. Model Rule 3.3 applies to the facts you put in the submission. You take those facts from the client.
