From the site list, mark each person the page describes as needing a card, and record the card number the file shows and whether Verify.licence was checked. Do not decide that an interstate card is valid.
What the lawyer must review
The lawyer confirms the work is construction work, who must hold a card, and whether a card that is not a New South Wales card can be used.

Checklist

  1. A white card, or general construction induction card, is required for workers who carry out construction work. The page's list includes site managers, supervisors, surveyors, labourers and tradespeople, people who access an operational construction zone unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an inducted person, and workers whose employment causes them to enter those zones routinely.
  2. The card becomes void if the holder has not carried out construction work for two consecutive years or more.
  3. The page says construction workers can work in New South Wales using cards issued by other states and territories. The recognition fact sheet was not opened, so the lawyer checks that sheet before treating another card as sufficient.
  4. Training is with a registered training organisation. A person must be at least 14 to do the training. The completion statement is valid for 60 days. Cards can be checked on Verify.licence.
