Checklist
- A company must have a registered office in this jurisdiction. Communications and notices to the company may be addressed to that office.
- Notice of a change of address must be lodged not later than 28 days after the date the change occurs. The notice must be in the prescribed form. The form number was not on the section.
- The notice takes effect from the later of the seventh day after it was lodged and a later day specified in the notice as the date from which the change is to take effect.
- An offence based on subsection (1) or (2) is an offence of strict liability. The section's note says that if the company will not occupy the new office, the notice must state that the occupier has consented and has not withdrawn that consent. The note points to section 100, which was not opened.
