Record the scenarios the climate papers actually use
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- List each scenario name, the date of the paper, and the assumptions the paper states in its own words. Write no opinion on whether the scenarios meet a rule.
- What the lawyer must review
- Press release 2026-49 says the Commission has proposed to rescind the stayed climate-disclosure rules. Those rules are not an in-force test of scenario analysis. The California Air Resources Board page describes Scope 1 and Scope 2 reporting that depends on Office of Administrative Law approval of the initial regulation, and a proposed deadline of 10 November 2026 if that approval occurs. It does not, on the text opened, set a scenario-analysis template. The lawyer decides what the papers support.
