How AI is used
Assemble one person's identity, product, injury, treatment and wage material for a settlement of a Part 4A group proceeding in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Tag every entry to a source. Do not assess the claim.
What the lawyer must review
  • Check each entry against the record and against the pleaded Part 4A group.
  • Check the s 33J opt-out date before the pack is sent. Written notice before that date is the opt-out.
  • If the form has a statutory declaration, write that part yourself. The tool writes nothing in it.
  • Show a group costs order under s 33ZDA, if made, as a separate deduction.

If the work reaches the Supreme Court of Victoria, Practice Note SC GEN 25 requires the lawyer to verify output. Do not put health records into a public AI tool. One AI tool cannot verify another.

SC Gen 10 para 11.2: an opt-out notice is not sent until the Court has approved its form and content. Whether an older prescribed opt-out form survived the 2025 rules was not confirmed.
