List unopened citations in an applicant's draft
Key facts
- Human involvement
- RedLawyer-led
- How AI is used
- List each case, statute, and rule the applicant's draft cites, and whether the text was opened. Mark a citation with no opened text. Write no sentence of a reply and no corrected application.
- What the lawyer must review
- If a paper is later filed in federal court, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 is the signature certification and Model Rule 3.3 is the candor rule. Formal Opinion 512 requires review of analysis and citations, and correction of errors, before a court submission. You decide what, if anything, is filed. The tool does not repair the draft.
