Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- From the public screens and any promotion of the tool, list wording that states what the tool does, a result, or who may use it. Do not rewrite the screen.
- What the lawyer must review
- Model Rule 7.1 says a lawyer shall not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer or the lawyer's services. A communication is false or misleading if it contains a material misrepresentation of fact or law, or omits a fact necessary to make the statement as a whole not materially misleading. Formal Opinion 512 says tool output can be inaccurate and names Rule 7.1 among the rules to consider. The lawyer decides whether the screen may stay up.
