Checklist
- Record a written permission for the composition and a separate written permission for the sound recording.
- Take composition owners from the catalogue search or the publisher, and recording owners from a source the lawyer accepts, such as ARIA, the liner notes or the label.
- Read any royalty-free or beat-platform term before treating it as permission for a commercial release.
- Record any royalty share the owner requires, in writing, before the new work is registered.
