Check a draft disclosure document against the federal item list

- How AI is used
- Mark which of the 23 item titles in 16 C.F.R. § 436.4 appear in the draft, and the page where each begins. Do not rewrite an item.
- What the lawyer must review
- Section 436.4 requires the disclosure document to include that table of contents, to state the page where each disclosure item begins, and to list exhibits by letter. The item titles run from the franchisor and any parents, predecessors and affiliates through receipts. Whether an item's content meets § 436.5 is a separate reading you do. A missing title is a gap, not a completed disclosure. Section 436.2 still governs when the document must be furnished.
