Record whether the class member is a client of the applicant's lawyers, who is sending the communication, whether it is said to be in the ordinary course of business, whether it is in writing, and whether it suggests that the class member do or not do something. If it makes that suggestion, record whether it explains the consequences in plain language and encourages the class member to obtain legal advice. Do not rewrite the communication.
