- What the lawyer must review
- The lawyer decides whether the statement matches the role and whether it was given inside the statement period the agreement specifies. The page does not state a number of days for that period. An agent's statement covers delivery dates, sale dates, type and amount sold, sale price, deductions, and unsold produce including the amount and reasons, the amount destroyed, the cost of destruction, and what remains. A merchant's statement covers quality and amount bought, delivery dates, purchase dates, and the price paid. If a method or formula set the price, it also covers the gross sale price, produce not sold, produce destroyed or to be destroyed, and the reason.
