## When to use it

Use when a contributor is asked to consent to an act or omission that would otherwise infringe a moral right in a film or in a work included in a film. It is the consent, not a note that a consent will be prepared.

## Used for these tasks

- [Prepare contributor moral-rights consents from the production template](https://ailawframework.com/practice/sports-and-entertainment-law/prepare-contributor-moral-rights-consents-from-the-production-template.md)

## How AI may be used

AI may insert the work, the acts and the parties the principal supplies into the section 195AW consent, and must not say that a moral right has been infringed or that the consent is effective.

**AI may:**

- Insert the title of the film or the work, and the acts or omissions the principal has listed
- Record whether the consent is the employee form in subsection 195AW(4)

**AI must not:**

- Must not list moral rights that section 195AW does not list
- Must not say the consent has effect if duress, or a statement within section 195AWB(2), is in issue
- Must not use this consent for a work that is not a film and is not included in a film

**The lawyer checks:**

- The work is a cinematograph film, or a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work as included in a film
- The person signing is the author or a person representing the author, as the principal decides
- Any contrary intention to the subsection 195AW(5) presumption is written in the instrument
- The author signs, and section 195AWB is considered before the consent is relied on
