## How AI may be used

AI may list the dates the rule requires. It must not draft the affidavit or advise that the compromise is binding. The lawyer prepares the application.

**AI may:**

- Record the date of the compromise, payment or acceptance, and the date of birth, from documents the lawyer supplies
- Record a date 30 days after that compromise, payment or acceptance
- Note that rule 15.08(2.1) says the affidavit in support is not served

**AI must not:**

- Must not draft the affidavit or the summons
- Must not define person under disability. Rule 15.01 was not opened
- Must not say the compromise is valid before approval

**The lawyer checks:**

- The person is a person under disability as rule 15.01 defines it
- The summons is filed not later than 30 days after the compromise, payment or acceptance, unless the Court dispenses with a summons at trial
- Any order approving a payment of money uses Forms 15A and 15B where appropriate. Those forms were not opened
