## When to use it

Use after an order has directed that a child's damages, or other money, be paid to Funds in Court. Do not use it to seek approval of the compromise, or to work out the cheque or the electronic payment.

## Used for these tasks

- [Prepare court-approval papers for a child or protected-person settlement](https://ailawframework.com/practice/personal-injury-and-compensation/prepare-court-approval-papers-for-a-child-or-protected-person-settlement.md)

## How AI may be used

The family can be given this note, and the tool writes nothing in the statutory declaration used for a payment out at 18.

**AI may:**

- Explain that the Senior Master holds the money and that it remains the child's money.
- Record the Common Fund facts the Funds in Court page states, including the $10,000 and six-year conditions for Common Fund No. 3.
- List the steps to ask for a payment out, without completing any form or declaration.

**AI must not:**

- Do not write the statutory declaration, or any words that would go into it.
- Do not promise that every client is paid in full at 18.
- Do not apply the victims-of-crime time limits on that page to personal injury damages.
- Do not state a fee. The page says no fees or charges are directly deducted from Common Fund No. 2. It does not state a fee for Common Fund No. 3.

**The lawyer checks:**

- Confirm the order actually pays the money to the Senior Master.
- Give Centrelink only a figure the office has put in writing. A student must tell Centrelink about income earned on the funds.
- Order 79 of the 2025 Rules was not opened. Do not add it.
