## How AI may be used

The tool may assemble the letter from the lawyer's assumption table, and the lawyer inserts the rate, the percentage and the end date before it is sent.

**AI may:**

- Assemble the index from the documents the lawyer has selected, with one page sequence.
- Insert the pathway or forum block the lawyer has selected and remove the others.

**AI must not:**

- Must not state an impairment percentage, a diagnosis, or whether a statutory threshold is met.
- Must not put health or wage records into a public or consumer tool.
- Must not draft an affidavit, a witness statement or a statutory declaration.
- Must not choose a discount rate, a percentage possibility, a retirement age, a life table, or a residual capacity.
- Must not rebuild past earnings from tax records.

**The lawyer checks:**

- The rate line is blank unless the lawyer has checked the section and any regulation.
- Section 13 is used only if the claim is governed by the New South Wales Act.
- In the Supreme Court of Victoria, Practice Note SC CL 3 has been considered before a single-party brief is sent.
- The streams match the vocational or medical opinions the lawyer has included.
