## When to use it

Use on a set review date, when the facts or the work change, and before a notice is sent or a proceeding is started. It records what the lawyer checks. It does not replace the diary or the costs disclosure.

## How AI may be used

The tool may list what has changed on the file since the last review, and a lawyer decides whether the estimate, the diary or the next step must change.

**AI may:**

- Compare the last disclosure with the work done since, and list differences the lawyer marks
- List diary rows whose facts have changed, and rows that are still unmarked
- List notices, authorities and consents that are missing or out of date

**AI must not:**

- Must not decide that a change in costs is significant, or that a Queensland change is substantial
- Must not send an updated disclosure, a notice, or a letter to the client
- Must not move health records into a tool that is not on the approved list

**The lawyer checks:**

- Section 174(1)(b) and section 174(2)(b) are applied on a Uniform Law file, including the information about the impact of the change and the steps in section 174(3)
- On a Queensland file, section 315 is read before any update is sent, and the Uniform Law wording is not used in its place
- The controlling diary date is re-marked by the lawyer if a new fact has arrived
