## When to use it

Use when an importer has paid interim dumping or countervailing duty and wants the final duty assessed. Lodge a complete application inside the six-month period. The applicant signs the declaration on the form.

## How AI may be used

AI may list the importations and the interim duty paid; the lawyer writes the application, the calculation, and the declaration the importer signs.

**AI may:**

- List each importation in the period with the declaration number, supplier, goods and interim duty, tied to a document
- Note the six-month lodgement warning printed on the form

**AI must not:**

- Must not complete Form ATRC2 or the calculation spreadsheet
- Must not make or sign the declaration that the final duty is less than the interim duty paid
- Must not say that an application lodged outside the period can be accepted

**The lawyer checks:**

- The assessment period is read from the dumping commodity register for this measure
- All interim duty on the goods in the application has been paid
- The declaration is true, and the person who signs has authority to say so
- A complete application is lodged in time for a deficiency to be cured inside the period. The form recommends at least a month early
