## Key facts

- Kind: Checklist. Steps or checks to work through and tick off.
- Practice area: [Government Procurement & Tendering](https://ailawframework.com/precedents/government-procurement-and-tendering.md)
- Jurisdictions: Commonwealth
- AI level: Yellow. You and the tool draft together, with you directing. You check every statement you rely on.
- Law stated as at: 2026-10-22
- Status: Maintained. Checked on 2026-10-22 against the authority it cites, for Commonwealth.

## When to use it

Use when a non-corporate or prescribed corporate Commonwealth entity is building the list of procurement-connected policies for a procurement. The schedule does not decide that a policy applies.

## How AI may be used

AI may add a policy only where the principal has copied it from the Finance list, and must not decide that a policy applies to the procurement.

**AI may:**

- Add a row for a policy the principal has copied from the list Finance maintains
- Record the Indigenous Procurement Policy as a policy Appendix B names, without saying it applies

**AI must not:**

- Must not add a policy from memory
- Must not decide that a policy indicates it is applicable to this procurement
- Must not describe the content of the Indigenous Procurement Policy

**The lawyer checks:**

- The entity is a non-corporate Commonwealth entity or a prescribed corporate Commonwealth entity
- Each policy is taken from the current Finance list
- The principal decides whether the policy indicates that it applies
- The policy-owning entity's material is opened before a clause is included
