## When to use it

Use whenever a prospective franchisee formally applies or expresses interest in acquiring a franchised business. It does not apply to renewals or extensions of an existing agreement.

## How AI may be used

Low-risk administrative task. Use the ACCC’s current version unaltered; AI may help track deadlines and delivery records.

**AI may:**

- Track enquiry dates and calculate the 7-day deadline
- Prepare the covering email and delivery record

**AI must not:**

- Must not paraphrase, summarise or regenerate the information statement
- Must not send the statement after other franchise documents

**The lawyer checks:**

- Current ACCC version used
- Delivery date recorded and before any other document
