## How AI may be used

Lawyer-led. The application is signed by the applicant as true. AI may help a lawyer put the applicant's own account in date order and index documents, but must not write or embellish the narrative or choose conditions.

**AI may:**

- Arrange incidents the applicant has described into a dated chronology with the applicant's own wording preserved
- Index supporting documents and list missing items

**AI must not:**

- Must not write, expand or "improve" the description of the respondent's behaviour
- Must not enter the applicant's or children's address, school or new phone number into any AI tool
- Must not select conditions or predict the outcome

**The lawyer checks:**

- The applicant has read the application and understands they are promising it is true
- Conditions are tailored to the risks and work with any family law orders
- Information-sharing consent choices are informed and safe
