## When to use it

Use after a NSW money judgment has been entered and remains unpaid. Check first whether the debtor has applied for an instalment order, is bankrupt or in liquidation, or has paid. Download each approved form on the day.

## How AI may be used

AI may compare enforcement options using the judgment details and asset information the lawyer supplies and calculate post-judgment interest and protected amounts with the arithmetic shown, but the lawyer chooses the step and settles the papers.

**AI may:**

- Tabulate the judgment amount, dates, payments and post-judgment interest with the calculation shown
- Organise asset search results into a debtor profile with each entry tied to its source and date
- Compare the enforcement options the lawyer names against the information available
- Check completed forms for blank fields and mismatched details

**AI must not:**

- Must not generate any content of the affidavits supporting a writ or garnishee order
- Must not treat a name-only match in a search result as the debtor
- Must not choose the enforcement step or decide that a protected amount does not apply

**The lawyer checks:**

- The judgment is entered, unpaid and not stayed, and no instalment order is in force
- The debtor is not bankrupt or in liquidation
- The amount claimed, including interest and costs, is correct and credits are applied
- Affidavits are in the deponent's own words and include the Gen AI disclosure
