## When to use it

Use when a company changes its registered office, principal place of business, officeholders or their details, issues or cancels shares, or (for a proprietary company) has a change to its members register. Always lodge through ASIC’s current online form, not a saved copy.

## How AI may be used

AI may build the lodgement data sheet from executed documents and registers. A person checks every entry against the source documents and lodges in ASIC’s portal.

**AI may:**

- Draft a lodgement sheet with one line per notifiable change, its effective date and the 28-day due date
- Flag changes evidenced only by unsigned or undated documents
- Compare the proposed entries with the current ASIC company extract and the company’s registers

**AI must not:**

- Must not lodge or submit anything to ASIC
- Must not enter officeholders’ dates and places of birth or residential addresses into a tool not approved for personal information
- Must not treat an AI-calculated due date as final without checking the effective date in the source document

**The lawyer checks:**

- Effective date of each change confirmed from the signed resolution, resignation, transfer or issue document
- Signed consent to act and director ID held for each new director before the appointment
- Post-lodgement ASIC extract matches the registers
