## How AI may be used

AI may list every legal proposition and citation on the page and compare the wording with the last approved version, and a lawyer checks each proposition against the official source.

**AI may:**

- List each statement of law, each citation and each date on the page, with the paragraph number.
- Mark propositions that differ from the last approved version of the page.
- Suggest plain-language rewrites of a sentence the lawyer has already marked as accurate.

**AI must not:**

- Must not mark a proposition correct because it appears in the existing page or in another firm's page.
- Must not add a case, section or form number that the reviewer has not opened.
- Must not publish the page.

**The lawyer checks:**

- Every proposition in the list was checked against the official instrument or the decision, on the date in the record.
- The page says it is general information, names the jurisdiction, and states the date a lawyer last reviewed it.
- The page does not tell the reader what to do in their own matter, and the next-review date is in the diary.
