A pack list for a dairy processor that intends to buy milk in the next financial year: the standard-form agreements, the statement of circumstances, and the dispute report, published on the website before 2 pm (AEST) on 1 June.

## Key facts

- Kind: Checklist. Steps or checks to work through and tick off.
- Practice area: [Agribusiness & Rural Law](https://ailawframework.com/precedents/agribusiness-and-rural-law.md)
- Jurisdictions: Australia
- AI level: Yellow. You and the tool draft together, with you directing. You check every statement you rely on.
- Law stated as at: 2026-10-22
- Status: Maintained. Checked on 2026-10-22 against the authority it cites, for Australia.

## When to use it

Use when a processor is preparing the Dairy Code publication for the coming financial year. Do not use it as the milk supply agreement. The statement-of-justification page, the single-document page, and the milk-supply-agreement page were not opened.

## Used for these tasks

## How AI may be used

AI may list the agreements and circumstances the processor has supplied and mark whether each is on the website. The lawyer decides that the set is genuine and that the dispute report does not identify anyone.

**AI may:**

- Build a list of standard-form agreements, each with a statement of circumstances, and note whether a non-exclusive agreement covers the same circumstances
- Record the publication deadline, including the next business day when 1 June is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday
- Draft a contents list for the dispute report using the five items the page names, with the numbers left blank

**AI must not:**

- Must not write the statement of justification. That page was not opened
- Must not name a farmer or any other person in the dispute report, or use material from the dispute process
- Must not say a non-standard agreement need not comply with the code. The page says it need not be published, and must still comply
- Must not copy the page's example processors or their sample distances and volumes into this pack

**The lawyer checks:**

- The processor intends to buy milk from farmers in the next financial year. If not, this pack is not required on the page's opening test
- Each published agreement is one document, is accompanied by its statement of circumstances, and is genuine
- For every statement of circumstances there is a non-exclusive agreement, or both an exclusive and a non-exclusive agreement, covering the same circumstances
- Nothing already published is removed or amended before the end of the next financial year, except by adding a later version that also stays up
