If the shorter date is an insurance or licence expiry, the permit is extended automatically at no cost when that insurance or licence is renewed before the expiry. The renewal information must be submitted at least five days in advance. If the insurance or licence lapses, the licensee renews the permit and pays the 130 dollar fee. If the permit expires because more than one year has passed since issuance, that fee is also required. This is not a one-year extension, for good cause, of a shortened land-use consent. |
