## Checking plan

**Lawyer-led particulars**

The lawyer writes the particulars. The tool extracts figures and document references for the lawyer to check.

- What the AI does: From the wage records, accounts and medical chronology the lawyer has selected, extract each figure and document reference into a table. The tool does not write the particulars that are filed, served or signed.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer writes the particulars and checks every figure against the source document. Decide which supporting documents are served, and which are filed. Keep clinical records in a firm-controlled tool. Do not put them in a public AI tool. Rule 9.1, APP 11 and the notifiable-breach test apply to the wage and clinical records.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.
- Restriction: The lawyer writes anything filed with the court or signed by the client. The tool may organise, extract, compare, index or comment.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. Check each amount against the invoice, wage record or tax return, not against a summary.
2. In New South Wales, file a copy of the rule 15.12 statement without the accompanying documents.
3. In Queensland, have the plaintiff sign the statement of loss and damage, and serve it before the request for trial date.
4. Remove third-party health information that the particulars do not need.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
